CoCoLo uses a proprietary tween-proportioned sizing system engineered from scratch for the 8-12 body. It’s not scaled-down adult sizing or scaled-up kids’ sizing. Our T0-T5 sizes account for narrower shoulders, less bust projection, and longer torso proportions than standard girls’ cuts.

Yes! This is our core innovation. For two-piece sets (High-Waisted Two-Piece and Tankini), you can select a different size for the bottom at no additional charge. A girl who measures T1 in the chest and T3 in the hips gets a T1 top and T3 bottom for the same set price.

ECONYL is regenerated nylon made from recovered fishing nets, old carpets, and industrial plastic. Fishing nets alone account for approximately 10% of ocean pollution. ECONYL matches virgin nylon in durability and elasticity but with a significantly lower environmental impact.

Absolutely. All CoCoLo swimwear is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified (free from harmful chemicals), CPSIA compliant (meets all US children’s product safety requirements), and third-party lab tested. All designs feature age-appropriate coverage with no padding.

UPF 50+ blocks 98% of UVA and UVB rays. It’s built into the fabric weave density — not a chemical coating that washes out. The protection is permanent for the life of the garment.

Our fabric is rated for 200+ hours of chlorine exposure while retaining 90%+ of its original elasticity and color. That’s multiple seasons of daily pool use, swim team practice, or lessons.

We offer free exchanges and 30-day returns. We include a pre-paid exchange label in every order. For returns, a flat $5.95 return shipping fee is deducted from your refund. We encourage exchanges — most fit issues can be solved with a size swap.

Yes! Exchanges are free. Start an exchange through your account, select your new size or color, and we’ll ship the replacement immediately. No waiting for your return to arrive first.

Rinse with fresh water after every swim (especially after chlorine or salt water). Machine wash cold with mild detergent. Lay flat to dry. Do not bleach, iron, or tumble dry. Proper care extends the life of the suit and preserves the UPF rating.

CoCoLo suits dry within 45 minutes at normal room temperature thanks to our quick-dry fabric technology.

No. Our fabrics are tested to Grade 4 colorfastness standards (on a 1-5 scale) for light, chlorine, salt water, and washing. They also meet Grade 4 pilling resistance and maintain 95% of their original shape after stretching.
